9-3 Wednesday
Xavier is using his words better. He says "no no no" a lot, but does not use his other words much. Today, he started to use other words appropriately. Angelica is working on "Si - Yes" while showing him how to nod his head and he is starting to copy her. This is his newest word. He also knows: Mom, Dad, Nan-na (Arianna), Tay-too (Thank you), Ut-oh, and Tay-tah (for bottle). Today, he said thank you when I gave him things, when he gave me things and when he wanted me to give him something complete with hand stretched out. I was surprized today when he said "Ba" (Ball) when playing with Daddy outside (I did not know he knew this word) and Ut-oh when he dropped a toy or food. I'm impressed with his new desire to use words to communicate.

9-14 Sunday
We cleaned out the office and moved in the kids toys. It is now a play room and is so nice. Arianna and Xavier already used it. Xavier had fun watching me and Tomas move stuff in and out. He also checked out everything on the floor. He did pretty good with stopping when we said "no-no" when it was dangerous to touch. Arianna ususally smothers Xavier, but he let her "zerbert" his belly when he was on his back. He thinks a lot of things are funny now.
