July 20th: Xavier took his nap in his diaper and no clothes (Tomas let me sleep in). When I went to get him, he had taken off his diaper and left it between the pack and play and the bed. Were he stashes his bottles when he is done with them. He did not leave a mess, but that was a close one.

July 21st: Same thing, Xavier took off his diaper in his pack and play and when Angelica picked him up after his nap. She did get a surprise. His pack and play is much cleaner now she had to clean it. Yuck! July 22nd: I came home and Angelica, Arianna and Xavier were at the pool (Demian is still in San Antonio with family). I got my suit on and joined them. It was so nice to come home at 5pm (REI rotation) and get to hang at the pool with bright sun and warm weather. I surprised Arianna and Xavier. Xavier wanted to do all that he was not supposed to by trying to climb into the big pool from the small one and wanting to lean over the waterfall side. It was not as fun for him to be on the safer lower side. He also was determined to crawl to the pool from the grass where we were sitting and ignored our no-no's until we picked him up (over and over). He also found gum on the ground and tried to eat a cracker he dropped earlier. 'What's wrong with it?' was his look. Arianna wanted to show me her new tricks, like swimming underwater and diving for goggles. She still sticks to the steps, but starting to swim a little.

July 31st Xavier is not scared of walking anymore and is walking as much as he can. He figured out how to go farther by slowing down and stopping tor balance every two to three steps. Now he can get from the front entryway to the living room. He even gets up to walk one step when getting a toy. He also tries to play with his toys and eat standing up. Arianna and Tomas are enjoying Legos together. They are making a helicopter together.

July : I got it on video! Xavier walking about ten steps when he saw the gate to the stairs open. Angelica, Arianna and I were working with him and he took some steps. He just took off to our surprise and while I was recording. His longest run ever. Arianna ran past and closed the gate. He is still scared of walking, but he can when he is not thinking about it.

August 3rd: Boat show

Auugust 6th: Tomas and I wondered if Xavier has pain receptors. He bumps his head or falls and never gets phased. We remembered he cried for his shots, so he does, but such a boy!
